Three things I've done today:
*Dosed Toothless and spent quality time with her*
*Picked up some movies at the video store for the kids (I have 2 LONG work days ahead of me, so hopefully this will occupy them)*
*Went to chick-fil-a with my hubby for a quick lunch date*

*Pick up some kitty litter and clean the boxes*
*Stop by the library, I need a good book*
*Make supper. The kids want kielbasa *

Back in office this morning....
- Normal breakfast routine with the cats and The Beast, scooped litter boxes, made the bed, grabbed a shower, and here I am
- Planning commission meeting right after work, so I'll get home late tonight
- Must grab a few groceries as we're down to two cans of cat food

today was finishing up the last few things from yesterday's busy day --
put the lids and rims on the jars of raw cat food i prepped, portioned, and froze yesterday.
sliced up cubes, chunks, and strips of raw boneless chicken thighs, portioned them in freezer jars, and popped them in the freezer -- for the cats. and gave myself an uncomfortable blister in the crease between my pointer finger and palm of my hand.
mailed my water bill payment.
cleaned the toilet. (ick!)
made a loaf of bread machine bread.
called my mom, our weekly chat.

Hey, @Kat0121, I was finally able to watch the season 2 premiere of Oulander last night. I got it through Amazon. Could not access it through the Fire Stick and I don't know why, nor could I access it on my computer. So last night, Mollipop and I were lying in bed and I thought I'd try it on my iPad and it came through fine. My 7-day trial ends this coming Friday and then I'll just keep it on Amazon til the season is over, then I'll get rid of it. Thanks!
- Normal morning routine, except I am no longer doing the black light pee check. Muffin is fine and we've had no further problems as long as we keep Molli and Muffin completely separated when we're not home. In addition, I feed Muffin her meals either in the bathroom or in the computer room where she feels more comfortable.
- Trash night
- 3 loads of laundry are separated on the hallway floor for me to do tonight
- I may have to go down to the Verizon store tonight. We did get the HUM package for the Tucson, but the email for setting the package up never came through and I need to find out why. I have the HUM charged and it's on my car's sun visor, but it's not installed yet.

It was a very bad allergy day. Yesterday I woke up with a headache and could not shake it. In the afternoon, I was so wiped out that I had to lie down for a couple hours. I did not really nap~ just a couple of dozes. Artie was sweet, he knew I was not feeling well. He curled up in bed, next to me. He also jumped on my lap while I was watching TV. He has not done that for several days now...

Artiemom, I hope you're feeling better today.
- Our breakfast routine this morning.
- I mailed our taxes off this morning on my way into work. We always owe, so we wait til the last minute to mail everything out.
- Didn't make it to the mall last night or the night before, so we must go tonight. We need to get the HUM package installed properly in the car. I tried, but, evidently, I have no idea what I'm doing.
- And it turns out that I need new walking shoes. I'm getting a lump on the side of my big toe that is from my shoes and it's getting a little painful. Best to get new shoes now before my foot gets bad. So that's a mall thing, too.
- Need to figure out something to make for dessert with fresh strawberries. We're going to have dinner with friends on Saturday night. She is just doing pizza and wings; my job is to bring dessert and I have two quarts of fresh strawberries that I need to use. I'm considering making simple white cupcakes and frosting them with white frosting. Then slicing the strawberries and letting them sit in the fridge for an hour. The cupcakes with the strawberries on top and maybe a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to go with. That should be OK. Either that or I'm just going to make strawberry shortcake with freshly whipped cream (Dear Richard is thinking more along the lines of the strawberry shortcake.)

- Errands: banking, gas the truck, etc. We're taking The Beast with us and after we're finished with the errands, we're going to take her out on the Trail for a good walk. I bought new walking shoes last night and need to break them in a bit, so a Trail walk will be nice for all of us.
- Bake some shortcake for strawberry shortcake and slice the berries
- Normal Saturday morning cleaning stuff: wipe down the kitchen and bathroom, scoop the boxes, and a quick vacuum

- The bed sheets are in the washer now; that's the only laundry I'm doing today as I did everything else yesterday
- We are going to Rick's mother's house later on this morning to start some cleaning. My sister said she'd meet us there to help. I have paper towels and cleaning supplies in a box to take with me. I'm going to dust the walls and then start washing walls down today. Some day that house will be going up for sale and we'd like to get everything done quickly.
The grass is really growing; luckily Rick moved the yard yesterday while I worked in the house, so we're OK there. We don't want the grass to get ahead of us while we're busy trying to clean that house.
