I'm still in shock in how long it takes stuff to get there! I'm so glad to hear everything arrived!

It doesnt usually take 2-3 months to get here. I have had alot of parcels sent here over the years from the US & UK and often they only take 2-3 weeks (thats not going express either). The last one I got sent for my birthday from the US took 8 days.

I think its more the fact that its Christmas and our customs is strict (they open majority of parcels) so I guess it just takes longer at that time of year.

It's me again - as I was cleaning out the packing that Betsy had used in the box I found another little gift wrapped in white tissue paper - the same colour as the rest of the packing so I missed it the first time.

So here is the very last gift Betsy sent to me - it is a beautiful little figurine of a little white cat dressed in slacks and a shirt with a duck standing beside it. I love it.

Thanks again Betsy - you really spoiled me and I love you for it.

You bet your sweet buppies that I'm relieved!!!
BIG TIME!!!

There should have been two little figurines - maybe customs kept one?
But other than that it sounds like everything was intact - I hope the mug was in one piece - it has a black cat on it to represent the Witch City.

I'm SO glad you like everything, Jean, and I know I spoiled you a bit, but I thought that you needed it.

(Oh yeah - that little green candle? It's a gnome spell from a witch shop.
I couldn't resist.

I forget - she'll have to look at it to tell us, but I'm pretty sure it is a good luck spell.

Hi Everyone,

Just read Betsy's post above and went back to the box
and there still hiding in the packaging was the other little cat figurine - it is now sitting on my computer desk with the first one.
Sorry about that - I will have to learn to look in packages better.

Again Betsy thank you so very much for all the time you spent in chosing the wonderful things you sent me. It is really appreciated.

Sorry our customs people held it up for so long.

Sorry - forgot to answer that question too - It is a GOOD luck spell that is supposed to help me get things that I want. Cool isn't it.

Oh you are SO welcome.
And it isn't your fault that Aus customs are so picky!

BTW, there was no catnip in those mice, and there wasn't anything that prohibited maple candy in the customs regs, so I'm surprized that they held it for so very long.

I'm glad you found the other figurine! I thought they were adorable.
(Almost kept them for myself.
)
