am planning on a relatively quiet day here today, as yesterday got quite hectic at some points. tomorrow will be another busy day.

already wrote up my 'to do' list for tomorrow's busy day

already read in my book for a while

will call and check on the last wood delivery today, see if i can set up a delivery date

will give snick her sub-q's around noon-ish

will scoop litter boxes, clean the tray under snick's preferred litter box and the underside of the litter box itself, and switch out the litter mats -- while she always intends to urinate inside the litter box, the arthritis in her lower back many times makes it hard for her to squat down low enough that the urine lands in the litter box...many times it lands on the litter mat...so i have spare litter mats, simple green spray cleaner, and the tray under her box and mat to make clean up easier for me

will take out the trash, bring in the newspaper

will run the washing machine

i'd also like to continue reading my other book, it's non-fiction and computer related

oh, and watch for the UPS truck this afternoon, which will have a package for me with snick's UTI medication in it...overnighted to me by the compounding pharmacy

yay! snick's medication arrived already. and she's been given her fist capsule.

It is really at the end of the day, but:

Coffee 

Medicated Artie (3)

washed dishes

vacuumed and moved furniture from three rooms

Steam Washed 3 floors

Put up Nativity

Washed Bathroom

Washed Shower curtain and liner

Washed towels

Went to church

Had a good sandwich

Hung shower curtain liner....shower curtain is still drying

drying towels

all done and on computer

Medicated Artie and will feed him soon...

done...until tomorrow!

So on the to-do list for today

- take the girls (Chihuahuas) out, since it's such a nice day; they won't "go" if it's nasty out

- go grocery shopping

- chop up the celery and carrots for my soup

since i pretty much did everything yesterday, today will be nice and quiet.

i'll make the cats and my meals, gave snick her sub-q's and antibiotic already, will keep the wood stove going low, and will get to bed early.

• BooBoo has a vet appt tonight; Rick will be taking him. We try to go together on all vet visits, so that we both know what's going on, but we don't want to leave The Beagle alone any more than we have to, so I'm staying home tonight. Boo is not doing well at all; despite everything we give him and everything he eats, he's starting to really get downright scrawny, especially in his hind quarters. There's no muscle tone left anymore. We feed and feed and he's got a great appetite, but well, he's going to be 20 years old in February. We're doing the best we can with him.
• While Rick and Boo are at the vet, I'm going to do a quick vacuum about the living room and kitchen. Scoop the boxes (didn't do them this morning).
• Sit down and work on a grocery list; we'll probably grab a few groceries on Tuesday night.

• Dentist appt this morning, just x-rays and 6-months cleaning
• Clean out the litterboxes and get the trash down to the road for pick-up

still to do:  call my mom -- our weekly chat, pay a bill, call the firewood guy -- hadn't gotten to that earlier

Gotta go pick up the rabbit for this weekend and get it marinating!

Cleaned chicken coop-cleaned and filled waterers and food trays
Cleaned goat barns-cleaned and filled waterers and hay/feed
Did all house chores
Cleaned litter boxes,fed and watered cats. (Don't twist it! I know it sounds goofy. Y'all know what I mean!!!)
Prepared a campfire for my husbands return!!!!!!!! (He is a long haul trucker-I'm usually OTR with him. But not at the moment....[emoji]128557[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji][emoji]128557[/emoji])

• I put 3 pounds of butter in the microwave this morning to soften til I get home from work tonight. It's time to bake the cookies. I'll put the doughs together tonight and get them in the fridge over night. And then get up early tomorrow morning and start in with the baking. I like to do it that way because the flavors in the cookie doughs meld better over night. And then in the morning, I'm not hassling around with trying to make cookie dough and then trying to bake, make more dough, bake, etc. All I have to do is get the decorating stuff, cookie sheets, the parchment paper, and the wire racks out and I can spend the day baking and decorating. It works.
• A quick vacuum about the living room and kitchen.
• I'd like to finish up the Christmas shopping for the kids. Will check some things out online and, hopefully, finish tonight.
• I haven't mailed out a card yet and need to work on them tonight.
