Be OK Mama Molly.

She went out around 12:30 am this morning and hasn't been back.

Apparently that is completely normal at this stage. From what Carlos has said, at a certain point the female will stay away from the nest during the day leaving the owlets on their own, and return at night with food. Apparently she is sleeping nearby.

Still, it's grievous to see those little babies in there all alone. And especially this morning when they were all squacking for her

I didn't intend to get on online this evening but just had to see if Molly was back ... not yet.
Any sign of McGee?

I was watching too.

Really high drama.
It was both Molly & McGee...
a gopher and a mouse.
What a relief.

Yay! So glad that they came back to feed their babies!!!

Apparently 2 of them ate a mouse each....swallowed them whole. I think Austin and Wesley still have to eat.

I checked the fuzz balls early this morning...
Molly and McGee are keeping them fat and happy with lots of food.

It rained all night and it will be a cold windy day.
Molly brought food and is in the box with the babies.
Stay warm babies.

Sorry, I didn't get a screen shot but if you get a chance tonight, check out the main owl box and owl box2...
it is really windy.
The box is swaying.

Carlos said he had the box professionally installed so hopefully it will not fall.
Molly is with her babies tonight.

I have always been able to see this webcam until today. Now I just get a black screen, anyone else having this problem??

EDIT: Ok now I can see it but it took about 4 times to finally open up. Right now there is some loud noises outside, sounds like someone is mowing the lawn and the babies seem to be a little scared. Wonder where mommy is.
