She moves around a lot, rising up to check her chicks every few minutes.

Her movements fascinate me, especially her self grooming, seems very similar to the way cats move.

I just noticed there is a link to other live cams on the page, too.

There was a bug crawling on her a few minutes ago. She woke up, and watched it until it dropped onto the chicks, then she snapped it up. LOL!

I could watch those owls all day. That is fascinating. I saved to my favorites. Thank you for sharing.

I watched the hawk and the hummingbird, also.
The hawk is in Philadelphia and you can see the people and cars passing below her nest. The hummingbird's little nest sways in the breeze. DH and I are amazed by the webcams.

these webcams are such a great idea! Too bad I can't interest the cats in watching them.

Molly and her chicks were making lots of cute cooing noises.

Oh, wow!!! I just saw the male - McGee - come in and drop off a mouse for Mom and babies!!! Lots of screeching and calling and he umm... "jumped" on her to say "hello".

So glad you saw it, I saw it too! I learned (from reading the comments) that the jumping on her is called bonding.

LOL! Nah, according to Carlos (the guy making it all possible) that is normal bonding behavior, the male walks on the female's back when he comes in to say hello and bring food.

Egg number four is due to hatch very soon, also according to Carlos. I gotta go to bed though.

I love these nestcams, thanks for sharing this one.
If people like this sort of thing there's some great ones in the UK, the Derby Cathedral Peregrines are my favourites:

http://195.224.106.202/peregrine/webcam2.htm

They've laid two eggs so far this year.

Also,

http://www.rspb.org.uk/webcams/birds...artenvideo.asp

I think EJ the osprey is one of the most famous birds in the UK!

And,

http://www.thewebbroadcastingcorpora...om/swt/swt.php

The female osprey at Loch of the Lowes has been breeding there for 20 years which is amazing.

Does anyone else here think that owls remind them of cats? Or am I the only one? I think Newt looks like a barn owl due to her little white heart shaped face and Ripley reminds me of an eagle owl with her huge, amber eyes!
