Would it be ok to put cloths soaked in luke warm water and epsom salts. You wring out the cloth and hold the damp warm cloth to the wound and it may draw out the pus. I am not sure if this is safe for kittens.
okay guys, i called the vet again (i guess they're tired of me bugging them lmao) and they consulted the vet that saw hershey and said they have an antibiotic i can come get tomorrow. i don't have much money but i'm going to get it for her as soon as i get paid tomorrow.
i am, i just gave her another .1 mL... i also tried to feed her again, she wasn't having any of it. i'm atleast happy to report her poop was solid and brown.
she and honey ate quite a bit at 8am this morning. honey was happy to eat again around 2, but harley hasn't been... BUT honey is substantially bigger tbh.
Yes. You've been spreading it all along. I can't believe the vet didn't mention this. You may have even reinfected the first cat.. I think you should still boil them maybe every other day or every day so you don't reinfect the kittens as the antibiotic works. I remember a very long six months when strep throat ran rampant through my three kids. I finally got new tubes of tooth paste, paper cups and new tooth brushes every time the doctor per scribed drugs. It's amazing the stuff it will stick to. If they are using a water dish, boil that as well, blankets since the abscesses are open sores in case it can spread that way as well. Take no chances.
