i'm pretty sure, the little holes are like craters and pus comes out of them.

Would it be ok to put cloths soaked in luke warm water and epsom salts.  You wring out the cloth and hold the damp warm cloth to the wound and it may draw  out the pus.  I am not sure if this is safe for kittens.

Poop sounds good at least.

How long ago did she eat her mush? It fills them up more than just milk.

she and honey ate quite a bit at 8am this morning. honey was happy to eat again around 2, but harley hasn't been... BUT honey is substantially bigger tbh.

Are they self-feeding from a plate or dish, or are you feeding?

oh gosh, they're only a day past expiration. do you think they'll help? they look fine, not separated or anything.
Theyt should work anyways,  its usually some margins on the last date.

i'm still feeding them with a syringe. they're okay getting water from the dish, but for some reason food bewilders them, haha.

okay good! i'll keep giving it to her.

Maybe you should get enough antibiotics for both cats.  Don't wait for the abscesses to start.

Did you toss out the syringe you were using or did you boil it?

Yes.  You've been spreading it all along.  I can't believe the vet didn't mention this. You may have even reinfected the first cat..   I think you should still boil them maybe every other day or every day so you don't reinfect the kittens as the antibiotic works.  I remember a very long six months when strep throat ran rampant through my three kids.  I finally got new tubes of tooth paste, paper cups and new tooth brushes every time the doctor per scribed  drugs.  It's amazing the stuff it will stick to.  If they are using a water dish, boil that as well, blankets since the abscesses are open sores in case it can spread that way as well.  Take no chances.

GOOD news!! i just fed the kittens and harley ate just as much as she usually eats, and with the same impatient fervor lol.
