Her pupil are dilated again.. She wants to touch my face and bite my hands off... What even...  She has her mouth open though she's not exactly panting...

Breathing harder and faster.. moving positions a lot. She's very apparently uncomfortable

She just finished eating and I imagine she'll probably be puking soon. She's on her birthing blaneton my bed, perched on her stomach. I swear it's like she forgets that she's in the middle of labour and just stops.

She's laying down and let me check her vulva and I think it's actually dilated some! :D

We've both been asleep (we neeed it) and right now she's licking herself all over in a sort-of-frantic manner and is walking all around my room. I know thatmeans she's uncomfortable. i also mentioned earlier that I noticed her vulva was dilated. She hasn't let me look again but I suppose once dilation starts, it's just a slide down that slope from ther... figuratively speaking. (I hope I'm not the only one that found that funny) She's licking her  back near the very bottom a lot too... She'll sit up for a second and then give this look that makes it so obvious she's in pain, where, and I know why. Very, very exciting. She's kinda checking out my closet which she really doesn't need to give brith there but she'll probably be on the bed with me in just a moment. When she starts running around like crazy during the big contractoins (like she has been doing) is there anything I can do to calm her down? I'm sure all that frantic movement and emotion can't be good for the process and those involved...

See if you can check her vulva and also whether she is experiencing discharge. Is her belly still having ripples? And what do you mean by running around like crazy? Is this something she doesn't normally do?

When I was pregnant They made me walk around the hallways in the hospital to 'move things along'.  Maybe it works the same way with cats.

That's what I'm thinking. I was talking to my mum and my boyfriend's dad and they said that a lot of first-time moms will get scared and sometime even try to run from the pain (they've both owned a LOT of cats.) also it's just basic panic, I assume. She's not running around right now she was cleaning her belly for about 5 minutes and now she's on her stomach just scanning the entire room over.

Ah, yes. She won't let me check at all. She doesn't even really want me petting her behind the ears at the moment. She'll probably let me check later if she can get more comfortable. The ripples on her side, as always, are coming and going. More coming than going, though. For the crazy running part, she'll jnust be sitting around trying to relax and then she'll jerk her head up with her pupils dilated and shoot off in a random direction, stop, lick herself, and shoot off again. She'll do this for about a minute then stop.

So the ripples are coming in waves? Like it happens, then stops, then happens again? How long between do you think? And at what point in the ripples does she run around with her pupils dilated?

Poor Granola still seems so tired and miserable. Her sides' rippling seems more... deliberate- for lack of a better term.

The ripples at this point are  pretty much constant, just varying in how severe they are. When she's breathing hard and fast, that's when her head will jerk up and her pupils will dilate but since I'm with her (I assume this i why) she never freaks out. She'll go bezerk when she's in the living room with me while I'm cooking (that's the only reason we leave the room lately as I want to minimize the risk of her giving birth where she doesn't need to- we have two huge bulldogs) and at that point nothing can comfort her we just have to let it pass.  When it's over, the rippling is more spasmadic and eventually calms down to the moderately fast and then slow (but heavy all the while) breathing.

Can you please look and see if she is dilating and how much and if there is discharge? I know she won't "let" you, but I need to know.
