I've a calico cat named Granola whom I recently gained the trust of and was able to move inside. Around the ides of May, she began showing signs of pregnancy- this is her first litter, I'm sure because her nipples were very flat and tiny but then got bigger. I knew that if she was going outside at all, I needed to check for pregnancy. Every day since then, she has gotten bigger and has shown every sign. On the night of the 27th of June, she was very apparently uncomfortable, licking at her crotch like she was stark-raving mad and she had small, very slight "contractions." That's when I noticed her litter had dropped down to the bottom of her stomach. I read in a few places that this was them moving to the "birthing positon." It is the 29th now and around 10:30, I woke up to the sound of her whining and she had hermouth slightly ajar. About 12 noon, she had puked not after five minutes after eating. We've stayed by each other's side through all of this so I just want to know what to expect and when to expect it. As I'm typing this, she's pawing and meowing at me, trying to get my attention so I'm going to cut this now. Is labour imminent? When will I be Babushka? :'D Please, someone, reply soon. Thank you.
