Right now I am re-reading for the umpteenth time Time Enough For Love by Robert A Heinlein And (I really can reccomend it to you ladies of the female persuation. It might seem a little odd to you at first but bear with it and I think you will find it a very good read. Heinlein writes very strong female caracters(sp) into his books.

Soul Music by Terry Pratchett. There's supposed to be a new Pratchett out in October. Hooray! Think I'll pre-order it.

I'm reading "A Cat on Stage Left" by Lydia Adamson. They are mystery books and the actress Alice Nestleton owns cats and cat sits for other people. Murders happen and she solves the mystery. I've read three books of hers already. They are really good. Try them.

Feeling gyped, reading Dean Koontz's second installment of Frankenstein only to come to the end and find there is a 3rd installment!

I am a booklover of the extreme kind and usually have several books on the go. I did something different this past week and just finished James Mitchiner's "Hawaii" which amazingly I'd never read - it was excellent and now I want to visit the islands so that is where my next vacation will be, absolutely! I love the way he uses words - he is a consomate professional - it's easy to see why he won a Pulitzer. Other than that, I read medical journals and I am currebtly reading "The Irish in Atlantic Canada", a compendium of articles. For fun, I am reading the atest book by Shirely Roussau Murphy Cat Fear No Evil
It's the leatest in the Joe Gray, Duclie and Kit series. http://www.joegrey.com/

I'm reading Dean Koontz - Life Expectancy. It's a bit of a turn from his usual style, but very funny in places!

I just re-read The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King. I only had up to book 4, so I ordered book 5 and 6. Now I see book 7 is coming out this fall! I'll never catch up!

Oh, EXCELLENT book! LOVE Heinlein. Glory Road, The Deathworld Trilogy. Excellent. Stranger in a Strange Land is "OK", it was too much the "in" thing for me to get into. Fantastic reads.

I'm reading One Door Away from Heaven by Dean Koontz, and next on my list is the Phillip Pullman Dark Materials trilogy which I've heard great things about.
