Sorry for posting late.
Well done to those who lost.
I have been sneaking a little sugar here and there, thinking I was invincible but it would seem I am not! I forgot to weigh on Monday but I had a weigh in with my trainer. His scales measure muscle and body fat. My body fat had increased and my muscle mass had decreased. So my orders are to decrease calories and increase protein. I'm back to being super organised. I too work out what I'm going to eat for the day and plug it into my fitness pal. It doesn't take much to make those scales go up unfortunately.
Have a good week everybody.

Congrats to all the losers!

Me? I lose during the week. I gain during the weekend. It's a vicious cycle.

You know how many times over the years I've worked to solve my issues..you will figure this out.  I love to eat out, and we tend to do that on weekends.  It takes planning, that is all.  You know I still bake and eat all sorts of nummy stuff..just balanced within the daily calorie limit I've set and that fits within my meal plan.

I am becoming the queen of mini's when it comes to baking (or buying..lol.  My current finds are a paleo friendly meyer lemon tartlet from Costco that are just 100 calories each and not very high in carbs, and mini cinnamon rolls that I packaged as two packs and froze).

I hope one day I learn to eat JUST ONE!! Until then I have to settle for NONE!! It's a shame but I find it so hard to reign in my gluttonous ways :anon:

Blah. Weigh in. Gained 1 ounce.  Ok, it's only an ounce but earlier in the week it appeared I'd hit the 7.5 lost mark.

I went back and reviewed what I ate all week.  I think, allowing myself to eat more points than usual was the culprit.  My daily allowance is 27 which equals approx. 1350 calories give or take.  I sometimes would go over by a couple of points but this week, there were several days where it went way over.  You do get 49 "extra" points to use during the week, but for me I think it's too much as my activity level is low.  Two days, I went over by 8 or so due to being so late to come home, I had no choice but to p/u pizza or fast food for dinner.  And, while I was conservative on both accounts compared to the past, evidently I just can't do this.

Anyway, onward.  Could have been worse and hopefully, I am right about the reason, which I can correct.

Good luck everyone!

I hear you, I really do.  All I can say is once I got my carb/insulin issues under control, I got the ability to enjoy them - when I chose, and without losing control.

It's trial and error..you learn what your body needs/how it will respond. Wishing you a great week this upcoming week.

To be the broken record I frequently sound like..lol... (and this works well for my mom who is now doing this too), I highly recommend doing a 7 day average of your daily weights to get your true weight.  It allows you to see subtle losses that you might miss otherwise, and any loss always feels better :)

I just saw on TV that on 20-20 tonight they are having a show about a mother that has to lock up all the food every night or else her daughter with an eating disorder would eat herself to death. I though some people on this thread might be interested in watch it.

Woo Hoo!!! My scales had a lovely looking number on them this morning too! That is very good incentive to have control tonight. Saturday night is my cheat night. I can have carbs for dinner. I have been going way over my calorie count the last couple of saturdays but not tonight. I am the slowest learner but I am learning. I'm still here and I'm not leaving until I get it right .

Woo!  New low today of 184.2!  I would LOVE to see a 183 in the next couple of days.  The only difference I can see in what I'm doing is I changed my lunches from a higher carb for me to much lower items, am drinking more water and have used my exercise bike twice so far this week.  I'll be using the bike again today :)

Yay! I hope you make it. It's Monday here tomorrow. I think it's going to be a good one for me.

You need to live a little of course :D
I've had a loss of 300g. I think that's just under a pound. I'm happy with that.

I hope the rest of you have great results.

Four pounds down since last Monday, so that's a total of six pounds since Aug 4.

Good going, "losers"!

The turtle continues towards the finish line....I lost .67 of a pound, for a new average of 185.53.  I'm most excited that I've now seen a 184+ twice in the past 3 days!!  This morning was 184.7.  Doing the happy dance for finally getting some under 185 numbers.  C'mon 170s!  I am 45.53 pounds from my goal of 140.  Total now lost is 182.47 pounds.

Grats to all the other "losers" :)

Congratulations to all of you!

I am on the third week of my holiday. If my home scale is right, I lost 4.4 pounds this last two weeks. I somehow doubt it, because I ate more than I should, even if I ate good stuff. One more week until I'll go back to the nutritionist.

Fluctuating from that 147 to 148 still. Doesn't  appear I've lost any since my last weigh in

I really haven't been on a diet but I'm really trying not to eat so much, mostly salad. I weigh in today at 213 as of my doctors appointment Aug 8th.
