I hear you on the busy days. I am a stay at home mom of a soon to be 4 year old and a 2 year old. I don't baby sit and I don't see how you do it. I count cleaning as most of my activity. Some days that is all I seem to do. I have added walking when its warm with both kids. My son goes to preschool half a day so when he gets off the bus we usually walk a mile. LOL imagine saying keep up, slow down, stop and don't the whole time. But I get it in. They love doing it. I use to pull them both in a wagon but now they weigh in at 49 lbs and 35 it is kinda hard to pull.I've got lots of exercises I can do, it's finding time to do it that's a problem. I'm a stay at home mom with a 3 year old, a 1 year old and I babysit before and after school. By the time my kids are in bed, house is tidied up and dishes are done, I can barely get the energy to shower most days.
I just finished doing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, picking up toys, making lunch, cleaning the floors, wiping tables down, then had to clean parts of the floors again because the kids made messes. Fitness tracker says I did 2800 steps and burnt 201 calories.
I did post the same question in MFP forums and have found out a true plateau isn't until you have stalled for at least 3 weeks. It's not even been a week yet. I just got to get it in my head that I wont pull the big 3-5 pound a week numbers forever. It will eventually slow down. I know its discouraging. I have 90 pounds left to lose. Can't blame baby weight forever especially since they are getting older. I have to understand it took me 15 years to get to this size and it won't be gone in a month.
