I've been entering receipts into Quicken and thinking about what else I need to do to prep for snow.
Things aren't going on verywell in my world and it's only going to get worse but you're hugs area greatly appreciated. Thank you and hugs to you too.Not sure what's going on in your world @Stewball, but hope everything is ok {{hugs}}
Just let Sara out of the bathroom, she was eating her evening "snack". Oscar rushed in there the moment I opened the door, only to be disappointed by the empty dish :lol3: And wondering what all the lights outside are about that are making our dogs go nuts.
Be safe. Hugs.I'm watching Midsomer Murders on Netflix while hanging out on TCS and obsessively checking the weather report. Big blizzard headed our way! [emoji]10052[/emoji]️[emoji]10052[/emoji]️[emoji]10052[/emoji]️
Any minute now, Chula will come tell me to get in bed so she can snuggle up next to me. [emoji]10084[/emoji]️
How do you send e cards? My son will be 45 on the 28th.Just sitting here checking up on TCS. I just spent an hour going through e-cards - my brother's birthday is tomorrow and, even though I snail-mailed him a real card to his house, I learned he and his wife are soaking up the sun down in the Keys while we have a winter advisory going on up here in the midwest! It's supposed to 75F down there tomorrow, but they are having thunderstorms - that sux! I sent him a card with penguins on it! LOL
Fortunately, I am on the outskirts of the winter storm - might get 1 to 3 inches of snow? Don't know, don't care! I have cat food, a bottle of wine, chocolate, and toilet paper. I'm good to go, so let it snow!
I can only get dog insurance. Cats don't count for much here. Yet.Just got done feeding my babies their breakfast, and was realizing how much I truly enjoy the chorus of meows each morning. I thought I'd find it annoying after the first couple days, but nope, not annoying at all.
I also had a chat (again) with the kitties. Their insurance kicks in on the 30th, so they can't get hurt or sick EVER but especially not before then. Except for Sara, because she's on wellness only and that kicked in the day after I got it.
Just Google e-cards, find one that you like and follow the directions on the site regarding sending it (to their email address)How do you send e cards? My son will be 45 on the 28th.
Thank you fyllis. Remember alcohol and freeling weather don't mix.Just Google e-cards, find one that you like and follow the directions on the site regarding sending it (to their email address)
Color me ignorant. I did not realize it snowed in Jerusalem! Is this an unusual event?Well it's 2.06am and I'm reading all 5 interesting stuf one here.
We're expecting bad weather tomorrow and it'll probably snow in Jerusalem. I'm far from there fortunately. It's a town I have never wanted to live in since I came here in 1968 ages 23. How time flies.
It usually snows in Jerusalem. A few years ago it was so bad nobody could get in or out and.half the town had no electricity for about 4 days including the surrounding area. I doubt that'll happen this year. The mayor will be more prepared. No snow for me. Just stormscoming in from Russia.Color me ignorant. I did not realize it snowed in Jerusalem! Is this an unusual event?
I am very familiar with sitting up in the middle of the night hanging out on TCS! [emoji]128570[/emoji]
Right now I am hunkered down inside while the snow is getting heavier and heavier. [emoji]10052[/emoji]️[emoji]10052[/emoji]️[emoji]10052[/emoji]️ Chula is snuggled up on my right side staying cosy. She is like a little furry heating pad. [emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]10084[/emoji]️
I hear you about preconceived ideas about places! I'm embarrassed about not knowing it snows in Jerusalem. I've actually been there and have a sister who lives in Israel. No excuse for me to not know this!View media item 324793
My first husband was from Ethiopia, in East Africa, and while the Danakil Depression in Northern Ethiopia is one of the hottest and driest places on earth, in Central Ethiopia (the Ethiopian Highlands) cooler temperatures prevail and they do get snow in the higher mountain peaks.
It's amazing how many people have preconcieved ideas about places. Ethiopia is an absolutely beautiful place! The capital (Adis Ababa) is a huge city with highways and skyscrapers; not a jungle full of wild animals.
Ha! I didn't even think about them being palm trees.Beautiful snow pictures, btw. I think this is the first time I've seen snow on palm trees.
Hey! I'm all set then! Question: Do I plug the phone charger into the cat?Oh my goodness, I'm laughing so hard and had to share... Watching Colbert, and he said this in reference to the power going out (paraphrasing a bit): Just remember, you can always make your own electricity! Just need a fleece blanket and two cats...
Omg that is so true!!!
