It's that time again!!
Little Man Khaos is 8 weeks! Can you believe it?

•He weighs exactly 2 lbs! :D
•He doesn't take a bottle anymore (sadly I only got one video of it. :() He has, however been eating bigger meals every 7 hours a day! I wanted to start introducing textures to him, so I boil chicken for him. It's kind of gross touching it, seeing that I'm a vegetarian, buuut whatever.
•He still doesn't want water. I've just been adding more water to his canned food when he eats it. He normally just laps that up anyway. I'll try the fountain when my mom finds all the pieces. She sort of lost it in her closet. lol
•He is going through a growth spurt for sure. He'll sleep longer, but is super hyper when he wakes up. lol. He also gets mad at me if I accidentally wake up him. He kind of gives me a glare and meows, before turning over and going back to sleep. He's too cute with his attitude.
•He's getting better at not biting--but he still has a loooong way to go. I don't let him bite any skin. He gets a toy shoved his way as soon as he starts. :p So, now when he sees things in my hands he'll attack it. The broom, his litter scoop, my brush, his brush, my phone, his toys. No matter the object, he things it's for him to play on. He goes crazy on his toys too! Other than that, when he bites skin, his playtime is cut short. His little sad face when he knows he screwed up is too cute, as well!! :D
•My room is literately his jungle gym. He somehow knows how to get on my bed. I seriously can NEVER see him do it. He also LOVES to climb to the top of his cat tree.
•He his starting to cuddle more--which I love.

You have done a truly remarkable job! Hard to believe he is 8 weeks old and weighs two pounds already - wow!

Don't feel bad about his thinking everything is a toy. I have four 16-week-old kittens who still have their mom and think everything is a toy!

I adore the Cheese It box picture! :)

PS: I also love your collage progression. You should frame it!

handsome kitty handsome kitty No. We moved to my bed last week. He seems content trying to jump from my bed to the cat tree. Of course, he never gets the chance to jump, but it doesn't stop him from trying.

Haha! I just noticed Khaos picked put that making a noise means you don't want be touched. When he lays on my bed, I give him a lot of kisses. After about 10, or so, he'll meow and jump away. He seems to be doing to me, what I do to him when he bites me.

I also love the "Cat-It" picture.   And the collage.   I think the biggest change from week to week was week 3 to 4.  Suddenly he had ears!

I, too, love the cat-its picture. ;p he's such a silly kitty.

He had his first run of the full house. He was loving it.
He also had a taste for cat treats for the first time. I gave him free-dried turkey treats.

I missed the "update" yesterday due to being out in an area that had no internet access. (We even got lost in the middle of nowhere without GPS because there was no internet.)

Anywho, Khaos is still great. He's 2 months old today--which I'm excited for!
I don't have much for an update today; 'cause want to say everything for a proper update on Friday. But I can say that he gets real clingy and adorable when I've been gone for a few hours. :D

Here are just a few pictures of him sleeping. :p

Aww, I love his little paws tucked under! Nice cat tree that your dad made. You can tell he thinks he's such a big boy now!

Sarthur2 Sarthur2 I actually designed the cat tree and did the hard work (wrapping the twine and fitting the carpet and attaching it.) My dad just cut the wood and hit a few nails. Lol He doesn't get all the credit.

And yes, he does think he's a big cat when hes up there--until I'm gone. Then he snuggles to my chest and purrs when I return. His little personality is adorable. Even with his nasty habit of biting I'm trying to break, he's the best cat I could have asked for. He also absolutely LOVES dogs. He sees them and he runs and jumps on them. My dog is still terrified of Khoas though. :/

handsome kitty handsome kitty I'm pretty sure that happenes. I just found him that way and snapped a picture. He falls asleep doing anything.
It's really cute to watch him going crazy, playing with a toy one minute; then for him to be knocked out hugging it the next. :D

Khaos is 9 weeks old!

I was completely blown away yesterday when I realized Khaos would be 9 weeks today. I've been so busy trying to keep him from biting and such, that I forgot about the days. I seem to be spending most of my times saying "No, Khaos," or "No biting." Lol I have no idea what to do with this little kitty. It's going to be a looooong battle for him to stop biting. He's so testy and mischievous. I sit there and tell him no when he bites, he'll look at me and put his ears back, keeping is little mouth ajar... then, he goes and bites again. He is such a hand full. :p But I still love him. :D

Anywho, to the update!
>He's 37 oz! He's so chubby! I love to mush my face into his stomach. It's the softest, warmest thing ever!
>He has this habit for the past few days to wake up really early (4 AM) and stay up until 30 mins after he eats (at 6 AM.) That little guy RUNS through my room. Lol. He jumps and climbs and meows for hours. I sometimes feel his little paws smacking my face. He clearly is an early bird. After that time, he'll sleep for a few hours, then play, then sleep again.
>He's started to growl and hiss when someone is next to his treats. His food, he's fine with that. But if you go near his treats, he turns into a monster. Should I stop him from doing that?
>After a few times running through the house, chasing my poor dog Spike, Khaos makes it his duty to stalk my poor dog whenever he's out there. He also likes to venture out of my room sometimes, though he prefers to stay in there where it's quiet.
>I still can't get him to drink water from a bowl. :/ He isn't dehydrated. I put extra water in his food and he laps it up from there, but other than that he has no care for the substance. He also pees like crazy and it's pretty light in color. I just want him to drink water. I don't mind adding it to his food, but I'd prefer him drinking out of a bowl, or something. My mom still can't find the fountain. I'll probably have to buy a new one.

(I LOVE the picture when he ran in front of the camera. It may be blurry, but it captures his need to run head first into everything. I can't even say how many times he runs swinging at things. He's such a little boxer kitty! And, of course, you can't have an update without Khaos' signature "wall staring" pictures. He loves to look at walls for some reason. My mom jokes and says he puts himself on "time out." :p)
