Kat -I am glad you enjoyed Asheville - I can't wait to hear all about it! You have to tell where you went and where you ate!

This week, I gained back the pound I lost last weeek.
It hasn't been a very good week for me though, and Aunt Flow is coming to town shortly.

However, I am still watching my diet, and am going to try to get out more this week or cut back on calories a bit. I bought more fruit and veggies than usual for the week, so hopefully that will help!

As soon as we get all of his digi pics sorted through and I can get them all online, I'll be sure to give a complete rundown! I kept wondering if I was sitting next to you at a restaurant or had just walked by you downtown and didn't even know it!

I hear ya on Aunt Flow Jenn! She's got a couple of days before she visits but she's certainly letting me know she's on her way. Oi. Nothing's worse for a diet than "that time of the month" if you ask me!!!!!

I swear to you- exercising is a GREAT way to alleviate cramps!
That's why I don't really mind working out during that time of the month (next week for me).
Gail, that's awesome about your skirt fitting better. Sometimes it's easier to go by how things fit than how much weight you lose, because if you're gaining muscle you may find that you weigh MORE.
I didn't work out yesterday and I probably won't today either- I feel like something the kits covered in litter if ya know what I mean. Thank you SO much Bradley for giving me your cruds!

Well of course I didn't exercise last night. And I had a "highly nutritious" supper last night. A good Sauvignon blanc, potato chips and dip and and part of a fancy chocolate candy bar I bought at the wine shop. And a small bowl of cream of asparagus and crab soup!! But I'll try running tonite. My sister is coming next week when I'm on vacation and I did want to be a tad bit lighter. But on the flip side my mom mentioned on Sunday that I looked smaller!!

I went to the driving range with hubby and I let him teach me how to play.
Once I get of antibiotics I'll be back at the gym.

Yay! Glad you see you back in the "Swing" of things Beth!
Ha ha, get it? Swing? Golf? Har har har....

Franny, I hope your legs get to feeling better soon!

I'm going back to Curves today! I woke up feeling much better today and I need to get in my 3 workouts this week. I went to my monthly weigh-in and measurement check yesterday....not too many changes to report
but I did lose 1" off my waist

Fran - where exactly did you pull this muscle? Could you have pinched a nerve?

I didnt do any exercise today - instead I walked outside taking photos of random stuff with my new toy

Fran, Nurse Amy says to stay off your leg as much as possible and apply an ice pack for the swelling. Are you doing any stretching before and after using your stepper? If not, that could very well be the cayse of your calf pain!

Frannie, I am so so sorry
Sounds like the pain is horrible!!!
I'm glad you're considering seeing the doc- hopefully they can cure what ails ya!!!!

I finally got back to Curves today. It felt good to work out. So good, in fact, I did 3 laps around the circuit and did my abs when I got home. Woo hoo!

They're great for a whole world of things Fwan! ESPECIALLY crunches!!! There's tons of things you can do with them to work your abs. You can also use them when doing upperbody workouts and leg workouts. They're just great all around.
