They don't really take to it.. I've tried a bottle and a syringe but they prefer to wait for mom.. But I keep trying (:
One more thing..pixie has licked 2 kittens completely bald on the lower belly and speeding to the kittens lower sides.. Is there anything I can do or do I just leave it?

Can you post a picture of that?

That is highly unusual. I wonder if it is ringworm. Ringworm causes hair loss.

How much do the kittens weigh? How much are they gaining daily?

If they are not getting enough from mom they need to be supplemented with a syringe whether they like it or not.

I was washed to update, here it goes! 2 of three are growing so fast!! My kitten, the one I choose to keep(cuz she looks like her daddy) isn't doing so great.. They all had scabs over one eye or the other and I cleaned them and 2 completely recovered and are healthy. For some reason is hit my little girl harder. One day I cleaned it out and there was what looked like a dried 3rd eyelid that was detached at the top and stuck out of her eye. A friend took her in to be looked at at the clinic he worked at and I think they ripped out a part of her eye.. They ripped it out without analyzing her or letting me know. Her eye is now popping out of her skull with a strange cloudy scab over her eye. I can see the black of the eye, it moves around. She does t move much and I have to put food on front of her and watch her otherwise she won't eat

Are you able to bring her back to the vet? That sounds very concerning. She could be in a lot of pain, or it could be an infection. Either way, I would say it's urgent.

How are mom and dad doing?

I've been debating taking her back to the same clinic and going with to supervise or look for another vet. I was looking at pictures and stories online and cats who had a similar situation had a surgery for the eye to be removed. I don't trust the clinic to do so. If it has to be done it will be done, but if I can't afford the bill o will have to give her away to make sure she gets treatment.

On that note.. Pixie (mom) is doing great! She's back to her old self at last and has figured out what is and isn't appropriate to do with her kittens. She dropped a lot of weight nursing, so I started buying friskies, sharing my lactose free milk in her dry food and feeding her more at meals. She's gaining her weight back slowly but surely (:

Now the dad.. He, just like most of my other cats, were strays I took in and fixed up and have homes. He started harassing my other adult cat and chasing him around, and refused to use the letterbox anymore. So we put him back outside with food and water and turned him back to an outside cat like the other adult cat I had. That night, only one cat came back for food and AC.. The dad, Rex, hasn't been seen for over a month.. Which is why i choose to keep the kitten I did because she looks just like her daddy (:

Has mom been spayed yet? She should not have kittens again. It's not healthy.

I agree the kitten needs her eye looked at, but I would recommend seeing a different vet.

Did you ever fix the dad? If not, that is sadly the reason for all of his objectionable behavior. Spaying and neutering should always be done before evaluating behavioral issues.

I would get a second opinion from another vet at that clinic. She needs care now. Can your roommate give a recommendation?

She hasn't been spayed yet. We finally got a car a few days ago so it's on my list. There aren't any other males in the house besides her kitten, and the other male is fixed. She also stays inside so I'm not too worried about it at the moment.

I want to talk to my roommate. He said there was one vet that specializes in cats.. Why she didn't see that one the fist time is beyond me. But i would want to go see her and talk with her. If I dont like the way she handles my kitten I will be doing a vet search. Amy she's how much am eye removal surgery costs for a 3 months old kitten..?

You are right that the mom getting spayed is not an emergency. I was asking if you'd been able to neuter the dad. Did you? If not, that's the cause of the behavioral issues.

Definitely see the cat specialist and see what they say. I'm not sure on cost, but hopefully they can work with you.

The dad hasn't been back. I firmly believe someone took him. He knows where we are and I know he's smart enough to come back. He had him outside for the time being so we could save for him being fixed but he never came back

Makes sense. He thought he was man haha

I will ask him, but I don't like the way he handles my animals. I'm guessing g he's used to dogs because he's much too rough with my cats. When he comes home I want to ask about the bet he says specializes in cats and go with him and make sure they don't do anything else careless

I hope you're right. In the future, I would advise against putting an intact male outside. Not only will they be mating with any female they can find, but they will often fight for territory. It can be deadly. :(

I didn't know that.. The other male comes back. We found out the kids on our complex chase him and have opened and entered our porch to follow him.
