I think she is all done. She is cleaning herself up and the finishing cleaning the babies.
We offered her water, wasnt sure if we should offer her food. (Comparing to human birth). She is too occupied with the babies. I think we will try again once we move her to her new nesting area.
As said, you can probalby wait awhile with cutting off the cord. If necessary, you cut off as discussed earlier.
You can smear something containing glucose sugar on her lips, for example glucose syrup, white caro syrup, honey water... Gives quick energy.
Common sugar works too, but is much slower.
Also, she may need to drink some water.
Well done!

I love the last picture. I watched the toms in our old feral colony babysit the kittens often. Never seen one hurt one even though the little buggers would pounce , chew and attack every part of them. Here is dad checking out mom and the babies. He keeps nudging her to see if she is okay and comes running everytime a baby makes a sound.
Dads body was practically white and face was light gray when he was little. He started getting darker as he grew up but before he was fully grown. Both mom and him have blue eyes. With that dark tail and dark ears, AND dark face, he is perhaps not common red tuxedo, he seems to be a point. I baffles me as he doesnt has the usual blue eyes. Possibly he carries the burmese type of point gene.
Do you know if he was whitish as infant, and got darker with time? Darkened up quickly within a few months, or first now as adult?
Momma is part siamese you wrote earlier. So she should carry the point gene.
Thank you. I'm going to have a hard time parting with them lol. I weighed them last night and two were 120g, one 121g, and the last 123g. So I'm hoping those are nice healthy weights.Look at all the stuff I missed in the thread! It was fun to read it this morning with such a happy ending.
Your cats are very beautiful. It should be easy to find homes for the babies.
I think I read one time that someone used different color sharpies to mark the pads of the feet...or different symbols on the feet to tell them apart. It looks like they are pretty much all the same size so you have no runt?
Congratulations on the perfect delivery...well done...I really like the looks of her nest!
