Great new photos. I love the colors.

I have been learning photoshop so it is nice to be able to look and see what people are doing with their pictures! It gives me wonderful ideas! Thanks for sharing them! No need to stop, I think it's wonderful!

I just got a SLR camera a few days ago so I am now learning some basics of photography. I have learned a few things, but most of what I take is still trial and error.

Here are some of the better shots I took so far.

This one was originally greyish and dull, but I enhanced the colors digitally.

I LOVE photography, and some of the pictures in this thread are gorgeous! I'll post some of mine later, when I get home... I'm at my parents' right now and don't have access.

I like this duplex. Is that where you live?

I agree! I love it. And I'm jealous you got a digital slr for Christmas!
I really want one but just can't do it right now. And the only way I'll get one is if I get it for myself!
My Olympus is a full featured camera but I am limited to the built in lens only. It takes decent pictures though.

Great pics, I love photography and will hopefully be getting a DSLR soon (Canon 40D).

Mine are located at http://www.tallyhofilms.com/ in the galleries section.

They were mostly taken with my little Casio point and shoot camera but some were taken with an old Pentax film camera.

Enjoy.

Beautiful images everyone! I wish my photo class were digital but alas it's old school film and prints. If I ever manage to find the Mac drivers for my printer/scanner I'll get some of mine up here. In the mean time here's some of my faves from our honeymoon. Keep in mind this is using a digital point and shoot which I still am not entirely familiar with and none of them were edited.

Under the cats, mostly.
Wow those pics are fantastic everyone! I'm better at doing portraits than I am anything else... artistic shots of "things" flummox me!

They were giants too! They are a pulling team on Mackinac Island hauling "buses" full of people around the island. They stopped for a rest and we were quite far away on a trail head when I took the pick. Here's one to give you an idea of their size.
