Glad she is doing well, and hopefully she WILL be able to come home tomorrow.
Hope all well for tomorrow and that Swanie doesn't go from moping to moody when she comes home smelling of vet.She was doing really good when we saw her last night, and we had her purring. They let us visit for around 30 minutes, and she pretty much purred the entire time (we took turns petting her and talking to her). She actually got up at one point, stretched (arched her back) and yawned. They said she must have been feeling pretty good if she could do that.
DH spoke with them about an hour ago and they said she was doing great and had even eaten a little bit of kibble! They're planning on weaning her off the drip and if everything goes well, she can come home some time tomorrow
Poor Swanie misses her, he's been moping around.
One good thing is that Swanie doesn't seem to associate the smell from this place with vet, probably because he's never been there. When she comes back from our regular vet, he will be fussed up for a few minutes, but he's okay with this one. In any case, they will be separated for awhile, at least until we know how he will react.Hope all well for tomorrow and that Swanie doesn't go from moping to moody when she comes home smelling of vet.
No, they have to monitor for awhile, and they have her on a pain drip. They said if her blood work comes back good today, they'll wean her off it and she should be able to come home tomorrow. DH said she was relaxed in a curl when he visited her at noon, and mostly wanted to sleep. We'll be heading out there in a half hour to see. They told him he could take pictures, so he's taking the camera.I'm a dummy, I thought there was a possibility she could go home with you yesterday.
But she sounds like she's doing so well!
Thank you, that is so nice. She's such a little sweetheart, and she's unbelievably resilient. I'm on pins and needles waiting for the biopsy results. That's fantastic news! I'm so happy for you all. I'll keep Cindy in my prayers forever...I'm totally invested now that I've heard her struggles & achievements. Good luck w/ the recovery & give her a smooch for me...just tell her it's from a devoted fan, lol[emoji]128571[/emoji]
