Give up for the day. Going to be a rough weekend as I failed at anything today so way to much to do. With husbands help we will manage to get it all done I am sure. Just feel my cats/my responsibility minus the heavy lifting.
So my list now as of 6:30PM
Feed dogs
Soak tub with cleaner for few hours
Convince husband we should get bagels in am with cream cheese. Think I will throw idea out that we eat there at leisure and take right off for badly needed shopping trip that involves Petsmart. I hate going on weekends as to dirty. Dogs have accidents-clean up after yours! If you can not or will not at least tell a worker.
LOL @catsallaround, I've had lots of days like that recently. Isn't moving fun?
I finally got the contract signed! Moved my books over there last night (nursing, biology, chemistry, and physics books are HEAVY) so they're out of the way. They have people spackling and painting, then new carpet next week, so I really can't move a lot in yet. I start my new job Monday so of course it would be more convenient for me to move stuff now. Ah well, it'll get done. Today I'm going to:
get the carpet cleaner after the seat cushions of my dining set
box up some stuff
if it doesn't rain, get rid of the book cases and desk and clean the spare bedroom carpet.
Dog got into something-she likes to bury items and "find them" later on. What a disaster. Was up at 3 am and that took over hour between her bath/the walls/...and then again this AM at 9 am.
After all the peanut butter in the closet for Dad talk they changed it
Congrats on the contract! We are in middle of getting a place but so much going on with it that it has taken a life of its own.
So not going anywhere as rather her be outside all day. Got the bagels though!!!
Cats rooms
House needs a good cleaning...
Bathe dog at end of night as she had just paws and tail washed this AM.
- Went to the most disappointing flea market and farmer's market ever -- they were selling pet birds there, and teeny tiny cages to take them home in. Such a sad sight.
- Do all the pet things...
- Do all the dishes.
Today is going to be a lazy day. We still have no groceries though because that market was awful. I'll have to get some tomorrow after work.
gave snick her sub-q's, then her breakfast and pills
cooked a roll of breakfast sausage in crumbles -- will be used for the next few days to add to the eggs when i make scrambled eggs for my lunches
the "usuals" (washed the dishes, scooped the litter boxes, took the trash out)
i've been feeling under the weather lately, though i'm not sure exactly why. i slept about 11 hours last night (went to bed shortly after 8pm), which is very unusual for me. so i'll be taking it easy (well, easier than i normally do) for the next few days, to see if i can get myself feeling better/like my usual energetic self.
Vacuum my floors. They are terrible. I love to have my house clean but boy I have let it slip this week. My floors are light and my cats are black!!! Plus I have children. Need I saw more?
Exercise.
Work out some meals for the week. Maybe put some in the freezer.
I think it's gonna be a movie day. Have Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence and My Neighbour Totoro queued up while I work.
- Clean bird cages
- Grocery shopping
- Hook up my UPS battery backup.. and then if I've gathered the courage, watch what I think might be either a really sad and/or really touching movie, "A Simple Life"
Ship orders.
Drop off clothes to Susan G. Komen drop box (nothing fits me anymore I've lost so much weight)
pick up gluten-free pizza shells for dh to have homemade pizza tonight.
Staples - ended up ordering a Western Digital 1 TB My Book last night for computer back-ups. When I got home, I realized they didn't charge me the correct price. They charged me $108.99 and it's on sale right now for $99.99. Need to go back tonight and get it straightened-out. I know it's only $9, but still....
- Finally called to cancel both my credit cards' balance insurance plans. Extortionists! @Winchester I called to complain about $0.80 charges to my card if that makes you feel better about getting almost $10 back, hahaha.
- Bring my potted plants back inside - the money tree can't stay out on the balcony long-term but I overwatered it when I repotted it, so I had to let it dry out a bit more
- Place my order on Well.ca for taurine, bone meal, and salmon oil (and a bunch of tea for me!). Finally going to take the dive for homemade raw - Kismet's been so picky and brattish about her wet food and commercial raw lately that I've been giving her more kibble than usual just to make sure she eats enough to maintain her teeny five pounds! She loooooves what unbalanced raw she gets though. *sigh* I'm hoping they'll ship quickly and I can get started this weekend when the vegetarian is out of town and I can stink up the apartment with dead animal smell.
