Yes, it is an individual thing, cat by cat basis I would say. In the situation you describe I agree with you, that would be too much stress on both cat and human. So it would depend on how each cat reacts to visits, then.Originally Posted by LDG
Otto, I think it depends upon the cats and is a very individual thing. When a cat throws itself at the cage, lunging so aggressively at the bars over and over again, that the vet/techs are worried he's going to hurt himself or pull out his IV, and the vet suggests you no longer visit for the cat's health, it's really best not to visit.
