i guess a little discharge may be normal, but she has no uterus to heal, so I think you should call and ask the vet.

When you call, tell them you'll be coming to get pain meds. And ask at what point Radar rejected her kittens.

Can you get a picture of this discharge?

I've never heard of discharge after a spay.

After normal delivery, yes. But not after a spay.

Call the vet.

They told me they will not give me pain medication for her until she is showing signs of discomfort and then I'll have to bring her in. They told me that they did give her an injection of pain medication this morning though

I call bull too. And bull you shouldn't have to bring her in for pain meds. They should KNOW she is in discomfort.

Have you read your bill yet? I'd like to see the charge for the pain shot this morning. Wonder if they charged you for kitten formula?

What did they say about the discharge?

They did but they gave me the can to take home.

They said to just watch it. It's stopped now and she's sleeping and she's ate several times so that's awesome

This does not sound right to me. I can not understand how they could just let those kittens die!!! I am so sorry. I hate to say this but I was worried that something like this was going to happen with the kittens.

I am glad you have Radar back home with you. I hope you can try and relax and rest now. You need to stay healthy for you and your baby.

They gave you a can of powdered KMR?

Mix some up and offer it to Radar later. You'll need to store the can in your freezer.

I'm glad she's eating and resting.

Yep and a bottle cause they were just gonna throw it away. I was gonna ask if I should give her some. I'll do that when she gets up.

She does not appreciate me getting up to do anything :p

I don't know, I'm scared to touch her belly. She is so thin and her belly is hanging so so low

It's okay. Her milk will dry up in about two weeks.

Give her as much wet food as she'll eat. She may eat a scrambled egg later for extra protein. My cats love eggs. And you could boil a chicken. Cats usually cannot resist chicken.

She'll probably sleep a lot today and tomorrow. She's been through quite a bit.

Let us know if she starts wimpering or barely moving or her discharge gets more or turns red, green, or yellow.

And also if she starts looking around for her kittens.

Has Hugo been around much, or is he giving her space right now? He may sense that she's a little off right now.

So sorry to hear about your kittens xx i can sympathise totally x I was given a pain medication for delilah when she had an illness last year but told to use very sparingly due to side effects. On googling I chose not to use it more than once.
Drew didn't have any pain meds following her spay.

Hugo has been hiding. He greeted her when she came home but he's hid since.

She walked around meowing a bit earlier but I think she was looking for me cause I was in the bathroom.

Awww. She doesn't feel well. She knows something is amiss.

Hugo's probably hiding because she smells like the vet. It will wear off and he'll be back to chilling with her soon :).
