Long time, no update!

Mr Stanley is now five weeks old and has been holding strong at 15.5 pounds for about four days now! Today he had his first real meal and he loved it! He still nurses but I'm not sure how much. He's the sweetest little kitten who will fall asleep with you :) Mama talks A LOT.

I think she meant ounces - 15.5 ounces. Glad he is doing well.

Yep! Oz! It was my first day back at school so I'm tired, haha. My fat captain is that big though!

Hey everyone! Is it norm for his breathing to be noticeable? He seems fine, he's just tired as its nighttime and he just ate. He's been eating normal food and drinking milk. He's okay, right? He's sleeping on my chest.

If you have concerns about his breathing you would need to see a vet.

Baby is losing weight. He lost an ounce since Friday and my mother won't take him to a vet. He's acting fine, it's just the weight loss. Are we not feeding him enough?

He may be growing, but he should still be gaining.

What are you feeding and how often?

We feed him cat food mixed with water, four times a day. He only eats a few spoonfuls but he seems to be nursing often

I would offer the mush more frequently, and I would mix it with KMR instead of water.

How old is he now?

You need to take her to the vet to be spayed now. If there is a pregnancy it is early and will be terminated during the spay.

So she will not be having another litter? That's good to hear. The sooner the better.

She will still be able to nurse after her spay.
