New to thread--it depends on the vet, but most vets are willing to spay pregnant cats relatively far along. A low-cost spay/neuter vet or someone who deals with ferals will likely have a lot of experience doing gravid spays.

Correct on all points. And it's really hard on a cat to be pregnant again so soon. And this is a pro spay/neuter site. The world does not need more kittens. Private vets will do late term spays, but you'll need to ask. They each have their own preferences. Low-cost clinics perform the surgeries day in and day out.

We didn't let her outside- all our cats were indoors. We do our best to keep an eye on her, but it's always possible she got out when we were out. We don't want more kittens, for sure. This journey was heartbreaking.

She got pregnant in the first place because we thought the stray we had sheltered was a girl.
That's water over the bridge at this point. There was discussion about spaying and neutering in the first few posts of this thread.

I think so. Mom wants it done ASAP, same with Sidney (the father) so we can rehome him. It's possible she's not pregnant, too, but she's getting spayed the next paycheck my dad gets. Should be Friday.

Hopefully then he'll get along with my oldest cat. We want him to go to a good home that will appreciate him for his personality. We should have neutered him as soon as we got him.
Yes, you should have, especially with an intact female in the house. And he would be more docile by now. It's never a good idea to wait to spay and neuter. That's why there are so many unwanted cats in the world.
