Slow cooked sausages, gravy, mashed potatoes, carrots and baked beans.....followed by fresh home baked chocolate chip muffin.  (OK, I admit it, I had to have a second one).  I was at a friend's house for tea and it was all very yummy.

On your birthday, cake does not include calories. That's really true!

Winchester!  I hope you have had a good day and eaten LOADs of calorie free cake.  :-D

Sitting here with a banana sandwich and a glass of juice.  No cake in the house.... could bake one but not sure that's a good idea.

Rick bought a can of Planters Brittle Nut Medley the other night while we were grocery shopping. It contains honey-roasted peanuts (and chunks of brittle), yogurt flavored raisins (and chunks of brittle), peanut brittle (and chunks of brittle), peanuts, and cashews (and chunks of brittle). Oh and did I mention that it also contains chunks of brittle? I was picking out the chunks of brittle from the can and munching on them until dear Richard caught me last night.

(And now I'm thinking of making almond brittle today while I'm in the kitchen. I just love brittle.)

I made sugared pecans last night and ate a few of them. I made the pecans as a topper to the mandarin orange and pecan salad for dinner today. But I've started making a full pound of the pecans because people like to munch on them after dinner, too.

Stuffing, mashed potatoes and rice. For breakfast :anon: hey, I had to make sure everything was OK before I served them, right? :lol3:

That's an absolute must!

We had goose, stuffing, sweet potatoes, carrots and cranberry sauce for lunch.

Some quorn mini 'scotch' eggs followed by strawberry milk and Maltesers.  Not a particularly good mix I've decided.
I do have a couple of clementines left and think I'll have them when I can face eating someting else....
