I would say the fact that your cat is hiding is not a good sign. When one of my cat's was doing this he had an infection and vet explained he was in pain so he would hide. Is there another vet you could take your Bella to be seen? Could you go to a nearby town? Hope your baby will be better soon.

Dry food is good for teeth. So for me having a mix of dry and wet prevents teeth problems.
