Hi. I just adopted an adorable cat last night. She's very, very sweet and loves to be petted, but we keep getting static shocks. She gets scared and runs away. Both my husband and I experience this with her, I'm sure it's because it's very cold out, but does anyone know how to prevent this??

I use the jumbo litter box liners. I just started using them and wish I'd known about them years ago. They're great, I just pick up the liner with the dirty litter inside and put it in a double garbage bag. I thought the cats might not like it but they don't even know it's there.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm giving her whatever it is straight from the vet's IV drip. I'm assuming it's water mixed with other things, but you're right, maybe it's saline solution. Whatever it is, it's working beautifully. I'd never give my girl anything that the vet didn't approve of.
