I use the jumbo litter box liners. I just started using them and wish I'd known about them years ago. They're great, I just pick up the liner with the dirty litter inside and put it in a double garbage bag. I thought the cats might not like it but they don't even know it's there.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm giving her whatever it is straight from the vet's IV drip. I'm assuming it's water mixed with other things, but you're right, maybe it's saline solution. Whatever it is, it's working beautifully. I'd never give my girl anything that the vet didn't approve of.

Yeh you could do that.  I have to do it sometimes with my cat, not for Miralax but for pills.  You could put a little in a syringe and mix it well with water and just squirt it in his mouth, I think that would be fine.  However, if kitty won't take it that way, could you feed him separately from...

Also, Jane, if the Miralax doesn't work and your vet wants to give the kitty an enema, try the Fleet Glycerine enema.  You can buy it yourself at a drugstore and ask the vet to use it.  It works pretty well and doesn't have all those nasty chemicals that other enemas have.  Good luck!
