I remember this episode!
hilarious!
hilarious!
I think that name is great for this kitty! He is indeed tough (Tuff) and it makes me think of how strong some cats have to be, (I have a tear in my eye because you found each other)! I wish you many good times together!!I named my black cat Tuffy because he was abandoned on my street last year in the hot month of July when about 3 months old. Heat index was over 100.He sat in the same spot on that hot dead-end street ALL DAY until my husband turned on the hose to water plants. He ran to our porch and has been here ever since. That's one tuff (tough) cat! We love him so much!We are retired and much of our time revolves around Tuff. What a joy.
Oh, I've been very forthright about my opinion of Sgt Fuzzyboots:
Hester and Hugo are great names . . . Sgt. Fuzzyboots . . . well, not so much.
Just don't tell your husband I said so.
It's so sad that black cats are always the last to be adopted. You would think that we would have moved past that ridiculous superstition by now. People are so stupid. That's why I have always had such a soft for black cats. They get a bad rap. They can't control the color of their fur and they are definitely not bad luck. And if having a black cat made you a witch, there would be a lot more toads hopping around.
This is my baby girl Lurk. I'd wanted too name a black cat Lurk for a while because in one of my favorite book series (the sword of truth series) the main character's grandmother had a black cat named Lurk and i thiought it seemd fitting to a black cat because they Lurk in the shadows lol. Well, we already had a cat at the time i read that and couldn't afford more at the time so i decided to keep it stored away for later. Then one afternoon our kitty (tyler was his name after tyler durden from fight club cause he fought with all the other males in the neighborhood) went missing and we couldnt find him. Turns out one the neighbor's dogs got out and killed him. It was verry sad. Fast forward a couple of months and my brother in law said that our local shelter had a cat who had had kittens and that they were having a hard time finding homes for the last three (he volunteers there) and asked if we wanted one. I imediately said yes and asked what they looked like, genders, etc. And he told me they were all black females. I told him i wanted the smallest one (i'm a sucker fornthe runts lol). The next day he came over and said that the other two had been adopted and that if i wanted her he had to know now so i said to bring her home and we've had her ever since. She's a little over a year and half old and my second favorite cat ive ever had (I've had over 20 cats lol). The top 3 pics are of her roght afyer we got her (shed still sleep on my chest if I'd lwt her but it makes my nose itch cause she sheds a lot) and the last 2 were from the other day.
Sorry for the book lol.
Right? Lol i actually find they bring good luck if anything haha! It's so sad that black cats are always the last to be adopted.
