I weighed in this morning. Monday and I was up 200gms ,without checking I think it's 6oz. I'm not too worried about that. Good luck you guys. I hope you have big losses.

Well since Monday I've lost the .62 I put on last week..now for a good weekend so I can have a new low when I average on Monday.  I'm just .5 of a lb. off my lowest weight in years, so maybe a new single day low by Monday too :)

NO going out to eat this weekend, and my little 8 piece box of chocolate truffles has been consumed..lol.  I'm in charge of all the cooking, and can really watch what I'm taking in.
Yay Pat! That's wonderful!

Good work Pam. Is that since last frid or Monday? Good work Pat.
I was busy yesterday but I did weigh myself in the morning. 4.18 lb lost!!!! Yes it's not a mistake!! Every time I had a sugar craving I had a glass of water or two. So I drank Lots of water lol! I stuck to no sugar and by Thursday I felt great. Really great. Friday night I had guests for dinner so I ate dessert but I only had one serve and I quickly put the leftovers in the freezer so I wouldn't be tempted to eat them after everyone was gone.
OMG, Tammat, that's wonderful, too! Great news!

Do not worry....you're doing beautifully. Honest.

Not a good start to my week at all. We had that dinner on Saturday and Sunday was leftovers. I probably could have handled it had I walked or done something, but well, I gained about two pounds. Pretty much what I expected to do. This week there is nothing going on that I can think of and I'm planning on cooking every night, so things should be OK. I hope.

Hang in there, gang!

Yay!  I lost the .62 of a lb I gained last week plus a bit more for a total lost this past week of 1.46 lbs.  I'm seeing new daily lows that I really like.  I hope for a really good week this week.

I'd like to not sound like a broken record while saying this..lol..but your most accurate true weight comes not by a daily weight which can swing up temporarily due to so many factors (how much sodium you had, how much water you drank etc.), but by weighing daily and then doing a 7 day average.  This is how I can see tiny gains and tiny losses, and lets me not sweat when I see a number that is 1-2 lbs. up..it's about how the weight is trending.....

down!  LOL.

Good luck all, wish you a  great week.

Well done Pat and Tamela!

Pam, those two pound will be gone by the end of the week and then some.

OK, I think I am finally ready to jump back into this all the way, no more being wishy washy. Enough snow has melted that I can actually see some sidewalks now and I've walked two days in a row. I want to see the benefits of my exercise, so it is time to reign in the eating. I'm not ready enough to step on the scale quite yet because I think it would depress me too much, but I may be by Friday or Monday.

I may very well be in this thread by the end of the week screaming for help and asking you all to talk me out of eating. Be strict with me please. :lol3:

I got on the scale. :cringe: It is BAD.

I was fairly good yesterday. Aaron kept offering me things last night and I turned them all down. Let's see how today goes. I'm all suited up and heading out for a walk.

I was doing fine till we had that dinner on Saturday with a bit of leftovers on Sunday. But it is what it is and I'll get the weight back off. Why, I don't know because now THIS weekend, my sister and BIL are coming for dinner. I'm making liver and onions for my sister and me (it's our annual liver splurge; we only have liver once a year....to celebrate both of our birthdays. It is what our mom always made for us for our birthday dinner. And my sister is seriously craving liver right now. Liver and onions with fried potatoes....now, how's that for a calorie-laden dinner?) Neither Rick nor my BIL will touch liver, so I'll have to make something else for them....Rick has already requested spaghetti; honestly, that man could live on pasta.

Anyway, Karen, good luck!
One day at a time is all you can do. (And tell Aaron to stop offering you food!)

Good job! You can do it. And I agree with Pam. Tell Aaron to stop offering you stuff!! (It is very polite manners though)

Yippee!!! Well done. I knew you could do it :)
I forgot to get on the scales. I've had more sugar than I'd like this week but I haven't gone too crazy with my calorie count. I would like to hope I have maintained. I'll weigh in on Monday.

I'm not even going there. Again.
I don't know what it's going to take for me to take this seriously.

ETA: OK, I went there. I lost .25 pound. I don't know where and I don't know how, but that's what it says.

I lost 1.26 lbs. this past week, and am happy for that. I've now lost just a tic under 151 lbs. Slow and steady :)

That's just fantastic, Pat. Slow and steady wins the race.

I expect a gain this week. I've had a family member in the hospital (he's out now and doing much better. :) ) and had a few too many quick, bad meals and not really much exercise. I cooked a bunch of meals for him for his freezer and sampled a bit :cringe: Mac and cheese. I can't control myself around mac and cheese.

Back on track though! I made a decent meal yesterday and walked. I'll continue that today.
