30 for me. A few things I haven't done and simply wouldn't because I don't like it or it's not worth it. Jell-o salad? yuk. Lemonade, butter and laundry detergent...no interest in even trying. Others I will/would...just haven't gotten around to it yet as others in my family do them, and do them really well like apple pie and corn bread. When those sources dry up, I'll learn.

I have at least tried all but three. I have not made laundry detergent, butter or mayo from scratch.

30 I think. Some are like...we made butter in kindergarten as a class. Everyone took turns shaking the jar.

But I've never cooked a pot of beans (I have done split pea soup so maybe that should count?) or homemade baked beans. I didn't count cooking for 30 people but I've done large quantities for church events for decades. It's just usually limited to 1-2 dishes and they were for a lot more than 30 people. I've made homemade pickles and pickled peppers; but never jam or jelly. We tried ice cream at a party once but that was a fail and there were so many of us trying I'm not counting it.

The only surprising ones are the beans, the mashed potatoes (I buy the frozen ones you just have to cook and mash yourself) and the jam/jelly. DH would be grossed out by homemade mayo so I won't try that. He's too concerned about getting sick from stuff like that.

And laundry soap isn't food!

30 for me.
Most that I haven't done related to dessert kind of things. I certainly have not made my own soap!
Surprised somehow I never made butter or mayo my own though. Certainly seems like I'd enjoy that homemade.
I counted meal for 30 as a "done" because I know I've cooked from scratch for big parties though don't know exactly how many.

24 I think. And that's going with lentil loaf for the meat loaf, and veggie chili.

39 for me at some point in my life. There are many I don't do now, mostly related to consuming animal protein.

I have never made pie dough.

39 out of 40. I have never made my own laundry soap.

I cooked for 60+ people when I threw Rick a 60th birthday party. The only thing I didn't make myself was his birthday cake.
My grandmother taught me how to make butter and my own mayo. I don't anymore, although with the prices the way they are, I may have to start making it again.

18 for me. I have helped with numerous others on the list, but didn't actually do it myself.
Also personally, I won't bake from a box. If I can't make it from scratch, it won't be made.

35 for me. I accidently made butter once while whipping heavy cream. My mother used to make soap, but I've never done it. I started cooking from scratch when I realized it wasn't much harder than the boxed version.

All but 6 for me, so 34 total

I have not done these
14. Made a jello salad?
15. Made a chicken pot pie? (helped with one, but not on my own)
33. Made baked beans?
34. Made ice cream from scratch?
37. Made your own laundry soap?
40. Lived in a house without a dishwasher? (though I‘ve camped without one several times 😊)

I did not see bake bread on the list. 😉
When I went through my sourdough phase, I made all kinds of bread items with it: focaccia, english muffins, bagels, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, dinner rolls, pretzels, pancakes, flat breads, crackers, etc.,.

33 for me. Never made chicken pot pie, butter, fried fish or laundry detergent. Haven’t cooked for 30, although when I had 3 teenagers at home it felt like it! Never made mayo, but I have made mustard. The only ice cream I ever made was with a mix and an ice cream maker. I have competed (and won) with my cookies and apple pie. Have to do a little bragging! I love baking but don’t do much anymore.

23 for me. I cook what I want to eat, so some of the things on the list I have no interest in cooking. Fried chicken? No thank-you!

It has been many years since I fried chicken. The kids liked it which is the primary reason I would fry it. I roast chicken now, easier and less mess. I started doing it that way after the kids left home, primarily because it was easier but now I prefer it to fried.
