Just cu4rious....why is the clumping litter a poblem for hybrid cats????
They tend to eat anything. Like: paper, plastic, fabric and cat litter. Yes, cat litter. Since, clumping litter, well clumps, it can kill the the cat. Since, clumping cat litter, turns to "cement" when wet, it can cut off the animals airway. In other cases, it messes up, quite servery, the animals stomach and or intestines. Curiosity is good, in my humble opinion. So, PLEASE, ask questions.
What kind of hybrid??
The above information is for any foundation (F1-F4) hybrid (Bengal, Chausie, Savannah and Safari) cat. In my case, it was both my F1 Bengal Taro and F3 Savannah Loki. They are both gone now.
P.s. The above holds true, for, pure exotics like Servals, Caracals, Asian Leopard Cats, Geoffrey Cats and such.
