I thawed out a chicken breast to cook tonight, but frankly I was too tired to mess with it.  I'll have it tomorrow sometime.  I had some queso and tortilla chips, and some refried brans with some Spanish onion and salsa.

there is always an alternative: just use any kind of salad mix. If salad mix is not available try this: pinch of dried parsley, chopped chives, about a teaspoon full, pinch of dill or really just about any kind of herb that you like, just use sparingly, you won't want to overpower the potatoes with too much other flavors.

Schnitzel, chips, avocado and cherry tomatoes.
Sorry
Schnitzel, like in Wiener Schnitzel??? That's a breaded veal cutlet fried in butter. And chips- that's french fries,or pommes frites as the French call them,  or potato chips, potatoes thinly sliced and fried in hot oil until they are crisp. Your British background gets in the way of what Americans (I'm not) call things. English is not the same everywhere :)

Last night I had rotisserie chicken, potatoes in their jackets and a coleslaw salad.

The church is doing its annual chicken bbq today....Rick is out there now, busily turning the chicken-loaded spits over the huge gas burners. (Although in all likelihood, he's standing around with everybody else, munching down on donuts
)

So today we are having BBQ chicken with baked beans and a cupcake with iced tea.

My parents are bringing by delicious takeout from the Chinese plaza where they're shopping a city over - beef chow fun, vegetarian chow fun, and veggie fried rice!
