What does she have?
Thanks! That idea worked!Originally Posted by clpeters23

Good luck and tons of vibes headed across the ocean!
I looked for plain chicken baby food for her before in a big store ( Tesco ) and couldn`t find any without some kind of additives like vegetebles or onionOriginally Posted by AlleyGirl
Please also get some plain chicken or turkey baby food and offer that to her, maybe on your finger. Its one of the only things Riley showed an interest in when he was sick.
I would definitely ask the vet about syringe feeding her some a/d can food if she's not eating at all, the sooner the better.
how odd - i've found several brands over here that don't... i've got about 5 jars right now [on hand for emergencies, y'know?] & the label reads: chicken & chicken broth. this particular one is Beechnut brand.Originally Posted by Jaffacake

That`s a good idea to have a supply handy. Really not sure why they don`t do it plain over here, or I`m just looking in the wrong placesOriginally Posted by laureen227

We don`t know yet. She was on steroids as an when needed for IBD but she hasn`t needed them for months. I guess the blood test will give them more of an idea.Originally Posted by mews2much

I'm glad she's feeling better, poor thing.
P.S. I love Sooty, your new boy.
I will pick up some a/d tomorrow at the vets. See if she will take that. She`s not vomiting nowOriginally Posted by booktigger
I do hope she is better now, and that it was just a bit of an upset tum. Baby food without onions is very hard to get hold of over here, and my vet doesn't recommend it, I always have Hills A/D in in case of poorly, fussy cats, HiLife tuna and cat milk - very rare that one of hte three doesn't go down well. i am surprised they didn't give you any sensitivity food to help her tummy, it is very bland and helps a lot with vomiting cats.

I will get some sardines tomorrowOriginally Posted by booktigger
Fingers crossed for her, and hope you can get her eating - have you tried pilchards/sardines in tomato sauce, very good for fussy cats, also heating food up, either by using micro, or hot water.
