Update on Sponge

Poor Sponge i think is going to be wore out..

She will... try not to help too much... has she licked off the kittens face at least? If not, gently wipe the face and make sure it is breathing ok.
It is not necessary to cut the cord immediately, she will do that when she eats the placenta (if she hasn't already)
Sometimes it doesn't come out til after the next kitten so don't be alarmed if it hasn't yet.

Oops, while I was posting my hubby came home and my dogs were barking like crazy so I forgot to hit submit right away... glad to hear she cleaned it....

she cleaned this kitten all up really good and now the second one is almost out. the first one looks just like momma except with white legs. the one she is pushing out looks like its gonna look just like momma too.

ok the first one is still doing great. the second one has passed on. i plan to take him out later on and bury him. she is still in labor and is pushing the third one.
