Sorry I haven't posted since this thread was announced. I did 32 minutes either walk, run or brisk walk w/grade on my treadmill Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday was off day. I had business meeting for dinner and most people ordered dessert. JUST SAY NO!!!!!!!!!!
But anyhow back tonite as my 10% increase for mileage goes into effect so I can do up to 2.1 miles at a time. I started to do the 3-5 minutes warm up then a mile run-still pretty slow pace at about 4.2-4.3 mph. Then walk run until I get close to my mileage them cool down. However I am having the same problem that stops me from using treadmill (too cold outside yet) and I live in country so I really can only "run" on the road and its sloppy from the melting snow. Anyhow-I have a big arch in my back so I've been getting a stiff back from being on the treadmill-I've asked my sister who is a college coach but unless I go to her college a have someone observe me I'm kindof SOL for the moment. But I don't know if I should be leaning forward, I think I'm walking to straight ??? I don't have this problem if I walk/run outside. I do try to really swing my arms around but its a lower pain that is quite annoying. Or could I stretch this out???? I'm one of the most inflexible people around.
Good job for everyone else!!
