I've just been watching Britains got more talent where they talk to them all one by one on the sofas, and she said the best act won. She's looking forward to the tour though

Wow, I just watched Diversity's final performance, and it was pretty fantastic! Those guys have got serious talent, and I think the choreographer/leader will go a long way.

That would be so awesome if Elaine Page did do a duet with her! I'm sure she definitely has a future in singing.

Okay, so I kind of felt sorry for the kid who choked. I've got a 14-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son who both perform in community theater for our local university. But they have NEVER pulled that kind of crap, and I'd strangle them if they did. But still... something inside me understood that little girl's panic.

Diversity was... ok. I don't quite get them, either, although I agree that the choreographer has a future.

I wanted Susan to win. Today our morning shows are all over the poor woman about admitting herself to some sort of hospital. The power of the media and paparazzi is so huge - they have brought this poor cat lady to her knees. I just hope she's not branded "sick" or "mentally ill" or whatever, and that this won't keep the Queen from "having her over for tea...just because!"

I love this thread. I've never watched "Idol" in my life - can't stand those kind of shows, really. But this "Britain's Got Talent" has really been interesting - and Susan, especially - thanks for making sure we get all the clips from YouTube.

It was the hotel staff who noticed something was wrong with her?. In their words she was acting strange, and they thought she was "spaced out", so that's when Doctors were brought in

Piers Morgan was interviewed on t.v. this morning, and he said from the moment she appeared on the show until the finals she's had so much going on that it's just been too much for her. He said she's never slept properly and the nerves were getting to all the contestants.

Hopefully all she needs is a few days rest and full sleep, but it probably hasn't helped that she has learning disablities

She's in the best clinic though,the Priory, which is where a lot of celebrities go to get their lives back on track

I just watched Diversity on youtube - without sound. I will have to watch it when I get home because I totally didn't get it

Going off what's been on the news i think they probably talked her into going.

Piers Morgan was on again tonight and said he'd spoke to her today and she sounded a lot better. He said that throughout the contest they had everyones best interests at heart, and always had a specialist team on standby just incase things got too much for them.

Her brother was on the news and said they just want to get her back home to normality.

As usual, the media hasn't helped with their hurtful headlines such as "The hairy angel"

she was swimming with sharks and they bite.

She will win back the love of her fans, who will once again appreciate the fact that she is real human being, just like them, but with a beautiful singing voice and the courage of a champion.

I wish her well.

That is really good news....

Susan Boyle, in a way, represents every woman from a small town. Whatever happens with her singing and public life, she will always have this amazing experience, when the world loved her.

And I still maintain that it was not the show that brought her down. It was the media -the all powerful media - that seems to thrive on invading people's personal lives.

Sure, there was pressure to perform well. But there was more pressure on how to perform simply while waking each day and going through her daily life. Her teeth; her hair color; her haircut; her clothes; her "makeover", etc. etc. etc. I wonder if folks had as many health issues - mental or otherwise - back in the days before our EVERY MOMENT was fair game for a sound bite or news clip.

Deep down i think she's loved all the fuss she's had on her, and if the truth be known because of all the hype of most people thinking she would win, i believe she thought the same as well, so when she didn't that's when it hit her.

Her brother said today that she didn't want to make it BIG as such, all she wanted was to sing and maybe make an album so she could fulfill her dream.
