that would also mean that like harry, the reason why snape did not become another voldemort is because he too has the power to love.

I just wanted to ask if anyone else has noticed the following:

In the second chapter (pg. 29 American version) of HBP, Snape is telling Narcissa and Bellatrix that he has been faithful to LV the whole time he has been at Hogwarts, "... although Dumbledore thought I was his man." Considering the emphasis that was put on Harry being "Dumbledore's man, through and through," do you think that Rowling chose those words to connect Snape and Harry? Maybe as a way of telling her readers that Snape really isn't evil?
