Murphy snuggled me almost all night last night. He had his head on my arm and was snuggled into my chest. I just love listening to him purr himself to sleep. It just gets softer and softer until the purr turns into little kitty snores.
I get the "Can't you people tell time??" look as well every night about 9:30!!! Love Dottie's face!!Dottie tring to tell me it's time for bed...lol
Or you will get a toe.....a switchblade toe.....
*Always OBEY your cat(s)!*
Either DH or I get up at least once during the night but no problem for Carleton - he steals our spot in bed and we gently try to move him over.
Here's another conundrum. Now your cat(s) and you are cozily snuggled up in bed, what happens when you have to get up in the middle of the night? How do you do it without disturbing the cat so much he leaves?
You would love my Shortstack! He is my Velcro cat. We always joke about buying an infant snuggli thing so I can just strap him to me. He is a hugger, and gets his feelings hurt when I put him down.
I've always wanted a cat who would let me hug on him/her all night like a teddy bear. But Murphy is the first one who has ever liked that. Connor and Mickey will sleep touching me, but not with me holding them. And Mickey still won't join us in bed at night.
I think we have the same cat.

I have 20+ cats and our winters get very cold. I sometimes wake up completely numb from the waist down because they're all lying on top of me and they've cut off the circulation to my legs. Not funny when it's cold and dark and you really need to pee but you daren't risk the stairs until you can move your legs again.
In better days, when the furmily was larger and we lived in a place where there was snow and cold, there would sometimes be 10 on the bedNow, with only 3, 2 sleep with me and it would be 3, but my feral girl will not let the guy sleep with us.
