I've noticed the last few years that I use certain phrases, words or series of words very frequently and probably overuse them. So that had me wondering:

What words, phrases, or series of words do you find yourself using most often?

For me I noticed that I say these a lot:
Part of me wishes/wants/etc....
So...
Though
For some reason
Probably
I'm debating whether...
I think/feel/believe
Jesus Christ...
Good Lord...
Chill out dude/take a chill pill (often directed to one of my animals)

at this present time its mostly cuss words atleast until my shingles torment is finnished i got bits of paper tape all over me to keep me from scratching or rubbing at the itchy spots

I've been using the "F" word more than usual along with some other swear words. Living in assisted living can be so frustrating at times.

Mostly swear/cuss words...I sometimes get creative with a nice long string of swear word mashups.

That's not too shabby, meaning something good. I am really trying not to swear, I don't like hearing it from others, but I noticed it just slips out, kinda unconscious.....sigh.....My mom had a good one I am trying to adopt. 'Hells' Bells!" I also sing to Yammy, my little chicken monster all the time, "Yammy, Yammy is his name, what do you do when you're Yammy, and chicken is your game". (after the old show branded)

And a lot of cuss words. Sometimes, they just come out. I swear.

Here's a few more. They are all to the cats since it's just the three of us. #1 and 3 were already said multiple times today.

Go eat your breakfast/dinner
Do you want some of mommy's chicken/turkey/steak? They always reply to that one and it's always YES.
Don't stick your butt in my face

I used to collect matchbooks and ashtrays whenever I traveled out if town. When I was a kid I collected baseball cards. I had some really good ones but my mother threw them away. Also collected marbles that I won from the kids in the neighborhood. I was really good at playing marbles. I had a lot of pretty cats eye. Now I just collect ink pens.

A few things . Phrases that my Mom used to say & I'd roll my eyes:
"This too shall pass"
"Youth is wasted on the young"
" You can't shine s___"!

Quite often & too much I say:
"Give me a break"

Quite often & never enough:
'Praise Jesus"
"Glory to God "
"Thank You Lord"
