is there an er to go to? Or another vet? Or call back tell them its an emergency. Tell them the vomiting wont stop.
Thank you=was going to say that=keep him hydrated--use a medicine dropper-he may like this or dip your finger in water/food and have him lick it off. babyfood meat has a good amount of water-he may eat a whole bottle in one sitting-I know you don't want to leave him alone but get some babyfood as its got the right texture that is easy to eat. Poor Oscar. Sending hugs
Meanwhile if you can syringe him water, or water + baby food warmed up, that will be good. At least he will not be starving himself and dehydrating too badly, which only makes things worse all around.
Will be thinking of you two.
Sorry. Not easy, I know. Ugh, wish there was something I could say to make it better......
I called the vet again and managed to talk to her a bit about Oscar's vomiting and refusal to eat.
She, too, said that putting him to sleep may be for the best at this point.
Oh no...I'm so sorry! I wish there were something I could do.

Well that's good to hear at least!
He's eaten a thing and a half of wet food, thank goodness. He seems to be keeping it down. His appetite seems to have diminished, though.
