What color should her gums be? And she's sitting in a really awkward position right now as wellShe did sometime from last night and this morning
I think her water just broke it doesn't have a scent and the white blanket she is on its not yellowWhat color should her gums be? And she's sitting in a really awkward position right now as well
She just started having contractions and pushing I'm still massaging her bellyI think her water just broke it doesn't have a scent and the white blanket she is on its not yellow
She's pushing something out I can't tell what it is yetShe just started having contractions and pushing I'm still massaging her belly
She safely delivered 4 kittens although we had to break the sacks and pre-clean them ourselves she showed no interests until the second one came out she was cleaning and snuggled the first one but they are nursingHealthy gums are pink.
Keep us posted.
Oh man we through all that away and even gave her new clean fresh blankets for her and her babiesThank goodness the kittens are born and healthy. It's good you were able to assist. That was a long labor!
Did she eat the placentas? If she did, she's fine for now. If not, bring her some wet food that she can eat in the nest so she does not have to leave her kittens right now.
Put her litter and water nearby. She'll get up eventually.
Yes she's eating her wet food now I am giving her space and I'll give her water after she's done with wet foodDid you bring her food in her nest this morning? Did she eat it?
She safely still not drinking water but she has been eating very little of her wet canned food should I make her honey water so she's drinking? Or just still give her space and just keep offering her her wet food? She's very tired and snuggled up with her new babies and they're nursing like crazySounds good!
OK well she sat up and to me it looked like she was going to clean and lick herself like towards her back legs but idk if she was unable to or what then she just started cleaning her kittensYou can give her honey water.
Hopefully she will eat more later today.
She will get up when she is ready.
YAYYY I'm so glad to hear that I was still sooo worried so just my observation of how today has been so far she will sleep 99% and I should still leave the wet canned food and honey water in her nest and offer some more of each ever so offten...She sounds like she's doing okay!
