Keeping a kitten alive

Oh how cute!! Jasper is socializing wonderfully with his extended family.  I can't get how big he is.  How old is he now?

Hes 7 weeks yesterday. Ive been forgetting to weigh him anymore cause hes eating both wet and dry food regularly and going in the litter box !

  I'm no expert, but by the looks of him and how he loves to "scarf" down his food, forgetting to weigh him from time to time should no longer be an issue for this little guy, but again, don't take my word for it.  But, you sure have done a wonderful job with this kitten!!

Just a couple hours. Hes been coming almost everyday now for a few hours but ive alwayd kept my dog in her crate so he could get use to her in a more easy manner. Today i let her out of the crate but kept her on a leash just incase.

That's wonderful.  Kittens in general are fearless about large dogs, whereas large dogs often seem skittish of kittens.  Elephant and mouse syndrome, maybe?

I definitely know what you guys are saying. Id love to keep them together for 16weeks. But i dont think its going to happen. Im hoping to make it to 10.

10 weeks will make a big difference.  Use your best judgement - if that means it's crowded in your house for a bit but your parents are happier, or that Jasper doesn't stay with his mom for quite as long but she is spayed and back to her life, that's fine.  You've done an incredible job with both of them.
