It's been a year since I lost my sweet Jakey. I miss him every day and think about him all the time. He's in my heart forever. Sometimes it is still hard. And I feel guilty when I do things like play with Maxx, or laugh at him when he does something funny. Somehow I feel like that is betraying Jake.

I miss you buddy and want to kiss your sweet cheeks. I miss you laying by my feet at night. I hope you're happy over the bridge. Don't forget about us.
