How into shoes are you?

I am definitely into shoes. The last time I counted and had 42 pairs and I think I have bought two pr. since then. (I only have 23 pocketbooks)

Years ago when I was in my 20's I was more into shoes, but I didn't have dozens of pairs like some friends of mine did at the time. I think the most pair of shoes I've ever owned at one time was maybe 10 with a mixture of heels from 5 1/2" all the way down to flats including sneakers and winter boots.

These days I can't wear anything with a heel. Even 1 inch heels make me feel unbalanced so I only wear track-like shoes. But I managed to find a pair that is black and made out of leather instead of leather and canvas, so they look more in tune with office casual wear instead of an actual track shoe. Currently I have 1 pair of shoes that I am using, and 2 of the same kind of shoe in the closet for when I need to change them out in 6 months.
