oh yea, your in modesto(i'm on beale)!

weatherbug says it is still 98deg. outside! it is 9:30 at night! omg! this is ridiculous!

our air conditioner will only keep it up to 20deg cooler inside than the outside temp, so it is 78deg inside, which is not as bad as 87, but still... considering i usually keep it between 65deg and 70deg!

Last night hte heat had me so zonked I put the sprinkler on and forgot it till this morning!

Funny you should say that because my husband did the SAME THING last night, can't WAIT to get the water bill for THIS month....ugh......and PGE will be even worse.....I have had enough summer, come on fall!

It's 38 celsius (100 fahrenheit) here again today with the humidex. Soooooo hot, I'm dying. I can't believe some of you have 105 or even higher, that's crazy!

I live in Santa Rosa, and it has been blistering hot ( up until today) for the last couple of days! I wish it would cool off already!
Even with the fans, thier is no tree by our bedroom window, I try very hard to keep it cool, but when the sun hits it, it can get like sauna in there, so I have Mischief go into the living room ( where the AC is, it only hits one room, it's one of those wall units
) and enjoy the coolness there, or in the kids room which has some shade and doesn't get as hot. Yikes!

Santa Rosa, Sonoma County? It never gets all that hot there! Does it? I used to live in Rohnert Park and Penngrove for a while and always wanted it hotter!
WELL guess I got my way! TODAY At 3Pm it is 107.1!!!!! AND there are still 2 hours before it starts to cool!

It's hot as hell here..I think our heat index is over 100, but the humidity is what gets you. We haven't had our usual rainstorms lately, the grass is drying up, & the sun just cooks. I'm tempted not to go to the beach & fry myself tomorrow, but need to work on my wrinkles! (hee-hee)

UGH HUMIDITY!! You are right, it IS the worst, I used to live in Evansville, Indiana and the humidity was as high or higher than the temperature, UGH!!

Today has been better than the last few days, the humidity has gone leaving a nice breeze...


But, it's still hot IMO. I think it's about 27-30 or something like that
In the car today with my mum I am sure it was about 40 though because I felt like I was melting!

Everywhere seems to be hot!!, where I live it's 33 degrees C right now with high humidity.
