Since this is not entirely a "Hobbes post", figured i'll just start a new one. We bought new nightstands and a wine tower. You know you can count on the cat when there's some furniture assembling to do.

i hope the pictures aren't too big.

First you read the instructions VERY CAREFULLY!

Then you pick out some screws and washers.

Put together the frame, and measure the width by sitting in the frame. This ensures enough rolling-around space when sleeping.

Boards have to be study enough to support my weight.

Ahh....perfect cube. See, it fits!

Hrmm...i could fill this up with water and make it into a pool.

The finish product!!!

That's our bedroom.

This is some tough work, i need a nap.

ooOooh, and our new handsome wine tower in the kitchen.

HEY!! You guys were married the same day me & my husband were! COOL!!

Not to mention that we have a Hobbes, too. Are you fans of Calvin & Hobbes?

What a strange couple of coincidences!!

Great pictures!
Yes, it is impossible to take on a project without the "Activities Coordination Supervisor" becoming closely involved. And it makes it more fun!

** HOBBES **

I've missed seeing you and the person behind the posts.

Good to see that you are still helping out around the house. Considering you probably don't pay rent, you have to help out your humans somehow.

Love the pics! Nakita sends you some headbumps!

Wow...that is certainly strange! Did you get married this year too? Or just same month same day? Both DH and i absolutely adore Calvin and Hobbes, we're big fans! Hehe...that's why DH insisted on the name Hobbes when we first adopted him.

How is Hobbes at painting?
We're in the process of remodeling our ENTIRE house. How does "Hobbes The Builder" feel about long term gigs?

We got married this year...same exact day! How strange is that? What a couple of interesting things to have in common!!

Same here with DH suggesting Hobbes as the name. He took one look at him and said, "you know what we have to name him, right?" It was so cute.

We actually get Calvin & Hobbes comics emailed to us daily from ucomics.com. We both grew up reading them, which we found a neat coincidence when we met. I love those guys!!
I'm actually looking at getting my husband the compilation of all the Calvin & Hobbes in one book that recently came out.
