MY POEM FOR MARY ANNE (FROM RACER)

Remember Mary Anne how strong we are with the love that we both share
Always knowing, in our own way, just how much we care
Cradling our lives, both emeshed into one, is where we have that balance
Ever so gently we can face the most difficult a challenge
Rest easy and know, as with everything else, together we will remain!

Cheryl there is no update, it is all a waiting game now. We have done everything humanely possible for him now it is up to him and God-

Hissy, I can remember how your determination and strong love for Racer got him through a very similiar situation not all that long ago.... Still hoping for a good outcome and keeping you, Mike, and Racer in my thoughts and prayers.

Just letting everyone know that I appreciate the good thoughts held. Racer is holding his own. He has some new garb to wear to help stop the fly problem that is so severe this year. But he is off all conventional meds and on holistic mixtures.

Glad to hear Racer is holding his own. Continuing to hold him in my thoughts and prayers -- you and Mike, too, of course!
If I could inject a few extra hours in the day to provide a little time for you to take care of yourself, I'd do it. Do take care of you.

I am still praying for you and Racer, too, Hissy. For physically healing of those front legs, and for peace of mind for you. And mental strength for Racer, that he will keep fighting. And for your continued wisdom in knowing how to do what is best for your beloved boy.

Hugs from Becky and Babe, to Hissy and Racer.

Please don't tell him I did this!
But this is the only solution I can come up with regarding the flies this year. I pick up manure in the stalls and pastures daily and dispose of it properly- we have a special trailer where it composts. So it isn't like they are knee deep in manure, it is just the flies didn't die this last winter.
He will not be put on steriods ever again, and he gets no more chemicals (fly sprays) on him (because no one really knows why he keeps getting ill. I am taking no chances. So here is his garb- and feel free to laugh, because I do every morning when I put this stuff on him. But it appears to be working:

It's done in stages:

The look in his eye says it all! LOL

The groin guard

Completed with fly sheet and fly mask-

Once the fly sheet is on he looks pretty dapper! I won't
it wouldn't be fair to him.

Racer is such a handsome boy, nothing could detract from his looks...including the cloths protecting him from flies & they just show how much you love him MA.
