ENTRY
When I was 4, my brother brought home a kitten. We named her Animal, Annie for short. She was a hissing, biting little thing, but she slept on my head every night. One time, my mom stuck me in the Naughty Chair for something I felt sure I didn't deserve. (I was about 5/6). I bawled my eyes out, and to everyone's shock, Annie jumped up on my lap and started to purr and "love me up", to quote my shocked mother at the time. I still remember it like it was yesterday, though it was 45 years ago, and I still feel just as loved.
