Gas Prices?

I drive 35 milles one way to work.I used to drive a Tahoe every day.

I bought a little Saturn SC2 and the gas I save pays the payment and insurance. At least I am not giving as much to the oil companies!

I haven't been out yet today, but I got gas yesterday at 2.89/gal. I live on the outskirts of my town so walking or bike riding is not really an option for me, plus i drive 35 miles each way to and from work

i swear I must spend at least $50 a week on gas

I live in Canada and our gas prices are crazy too. I'm not sure what its like there but I gave my boyfriend $25 for gas yesterday at $108.9 (thats a dollar and 8 cents) and he put $20 in again today and he doesnt even half 1/4 of a tank. He drives a truck, so its bad on gas, its like $80 a week.

Well, Jeremy just filled my truck up this morning, $42 for 16 gal.
That's around $12 more than it was 2 weeks ago.

And we only use regular.

Well, gas went down 10 cents today! Its down to 2,79, which still sucks, BUT... its better than paying almost closer $3.00!

$2.79? We were that for 10 minutes two days ago!
I had to fight last night to get gas for $2.83...sad I know, but the place across the street that while mostly empty, was at $2.89.

so since 1 gallon is 3.79 liters I am paying $4.05 per gallon Canadian And you thought you were getting screwed!!!

I just heard on the news yesterday that in Eugene (OR) gas is $3.30

In my area if avoid the freeways I can find gas for under 2.70. I think it's around 2.60 in the 'burbs right now. Ah, those were the days living out in Katy.

I live on the East Cost of Canada, and we're at $120.1/L. I drive a Saturn Vue and we get about five days on a tank (with me driving...we won't go there if the b/f drives!

) and depending on if we're on "E" or 1/4, it's anywhere from $40-$50 each time. We travel round trip home-work-home (no extra going) 64 km.

I am in Australia and we are at $1.38 per liter (aus $) which is $5.23 per gallon
(convert that to US dollars and its $3.95 per gallon)

and we are the 3rd cheapest country in the world for fuel prices apparently which is scary in itself.

it's bloody expensive here in NZ too and people wonder why I prefer to walk. Public transport is going up 15% here shortly, but they say it's due to getting more trains.

I feel so guilty when I drive places.

Average regular gas now is $3.25-3.35
